Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II’s wedding photos had to be retaken in 1947 due to a shocking reason. In the ITV documentary “Invitation to the Royal Wedding,” David Longman, head of Longmans florist, said that the royal couple had to pose for snaps during their honeymoon, and these were used as their official wedding photographs. He said that in some of the Queen’s state photographs with the bridesmaids and royal guests, it was evident that the monarch didn’t have her bouquet because it got lost.
