The Irish singer-songwriter formerly known as Sinead O’Connor first found fame in the late ’80s with a hit debut album, The Lion and the Cobra. She’s been gaining fame ever since, sometimes aided and sometimes hindered by the occasional burst of controversy. So it’s not entirely surprising that O’Connor, after her conversion to Islam and changing her name to Shunada’ Davitt, has now announced via Twitter that she never wants to spend time with white people ever again.
