Recently, Janeane Garofalo dragged Louis CK’s daughters into the #MeToo conversation to elicit sympathy for this self-avowed sexual harasser, “If nothing else…think about how his daughters, who hear all this stuff, feel. Why don’t you leave him alone for them if you’re so women empowering.” Obviously, the burden of the well-being of the children first falls on the parents — maybe Louis should’ve considered his daughters when he was harassing women or when he came back into the spotlight or when he began his set by equating the backlash against his sexual misconduct to the Holocaust.
