A street race in San Jose late Thursday night led to a hit-and-run chain-reaction crash that sent one of the drivers and another motorist to the hospital, police said Friday. The hit-and-run driver was racing his green Ford pickup against another vehicle eastbound on Moorpark Avenue near Saratoga Avenue just before 11 p.m., San Jose police said. After losing control of the vehicle, the driver rear-ended a Ford Crown Victoria that was making a right turn into an apartment complex, police said.
