Ocala drug suspect admits to hiding needles inside her body

An Ocala woman who was being taken to jail on drug charges told a Marion County sheriff’s deputy she was carrying syringes inside a female body cavity. Kayla Amber Osman, 28, of 9656 NW 30th Ave., was diverted to AdventHealth TimberRidge ER, where the on-duty doctor removed five empty needles from inside her. She was then taken to the Marion County Jail, where she’s being held on $12,000 bond.
