Pallet Fire In Central Jersey Seen For Miles

Patch - 08-12

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A pallet fire in a warehouse region off Rt. 27 is what's causing the smoke that can be seen for miles throughout Central New Jersey Monday afternoon. The cause of the fire is a large amount of burning pallets on Home News Row in New Brunswick, said Capt. Joseph Miller of the New Brunswick police department. Home News Row is a warehouse section of Middlesex County in between Rt. 27 and Rt. 1. A number of warehouses and corporations sit on the street where the fire is.
