Thousands remain without power morning after storms

Thousands of National Grid customers remain without service this morning, hours after powerful thunderstorms swept through the region. As series of storms moved through Thursday afternoon and evening, leaving more than 7,000 without electrical service in the region. Much of the damage was concentrated in the Hudson Valley and more than 2,000 customers between New Baltimore in Greene County and Germantown in Columbia County remain without service Friday morning.
