Millions of Californians who had their Social Security numbers, home addresses and other personal information exposed in a 2017 security breach at Equifax are eligible to file for a piece of a settlement worth up to $700 million reached between the credit reporting and the federal government.
*?*: in other words they got off Scott free
sticky: 15 million illegal aliens
T. Hall: So states get more than the people actually hurt by this. Total BS. 15mil ÷ 20k is only 750 people and the pot is gone. So they really don't expect to give the 15 mil people that are eligible much of anything. Or figure it another way. They have 18.7 mil for 15 million people. They get $1.24 each. While California gets millions more to spend on all the illegals the Dems are providing sanctuary for.
T. Hall: I need to move. All should go to everyone hurt by this. Or even better to everyone who had their info hacked. You never know when you'll get your info used to hurt you and should be compensated just because it wasn't kept safe. These credit houses are just big scams anyways. They don't accept house leases as proving your credit worthiness. But if you break that lease can ruin your credit forever. Any transaction that had the chance to ruin your credit should be considered to raise your score. You don't pay your gas, power, hospital Etc.. You get your credit trashed. But pay everything on time and you don't get any credit for it. Go out and get a secured Credit Card. For a few hundred $ and your credit can soar. Completely screwed up.
