ORLANDO, Fla. - A newborn baby boy was found abandoned Saturday on the doorstep at an Orlando apartment complex, according to police. Officers said the 1-day-old boy was found wrapped in a T-shirt around 10 a.m. at the Willow Key Apartments on Arnold Palmer Drive and appeared to be in good health.

I used to be a Foster Care and Adoption Manager with DCF and there were people lined up for a chance to have a baby. It's terrible people do this when there is the safe haven law in effect.

Why didn't she drop the baby off at her local fire department?!? They will accept the child without any questions asked. She could have left the baby at their front door!
