At least seven people were wounded in a shooting Saturday in Lincoln Park outside the historic Theater on the Lake complex along Lake Michigan. About 3:30 a.m., a group of people was walking towards the lakefront in the first block of West Fullerton as another was leaving, according to Chicago police.

Robert Stepanek: and no one cooperates with the police and the band plays on

Robert Stepanek: 3:30 am? sounds like you're looking for trouble being out at that hour!

Outlaw Rebel Girl: It's just going to get worse and worse in Chicago. We left in 2015 and are glad we did. Crime is everywhere but Chicago is extremely ridden with violent crimes. You can't walk down a street or sit on your porch without something bad happening. Why anyone would want to stay and live there is beyond me. One of the best decisions we ever made was to leave Chicago and if you care about your kids and family there are far better and safer places.

Alice No: they say the police are using excessive force. haha. the joy of a sanctuary city/state.

Justarena Caffey: I can't believe they were out that late neither it's very sad ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ขโ˜น๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ข though

That is so funny. But there's a lot of truth in what you said, T Lee.

Really? Willing to bet most of the thugs in those two groups don't even have jobs.

Chicago's streets have been violent since the 60s and even before. where this took place is supposed to be upper class ๐Ÿ™„so no matter were u live in the city it can be dangerous nothing ever seems to change thats why i live in the south suburbs now ๐Ÿ˜

Send this to article to City of Chicagos Housing Coordinator and ask him does he remember having a conversation about how long will our City sit pretty on not serving the needs of those in poverty on the South and West ends. The violence and crime spill into the backyard of those who feels they are more privileged and deserving .

I do understand what you're saying but, that can not be your best decision EVER made. Getting a high school diploma may have been better than that
