Extra patrols result in arrests, citations and warnings around the Oregon Country Fair

The Lane County Sheriff's Office on Friday released the results of extra patrols last weekend around the Oregon Country Fair near Veneta. Deputies, officers and troopers made about 20 arrests, wrote 213 citations, and issued 410 warnings, said sheriff's Sgt. Steve Sieczkowski. Eugene, Springfield and University of Oregon police officers, and Oregon State Police troopers joined sheriff's deputies in the patrols.
