The scientists think they’ve come up with a solution to Texas’ pot problem. Forensic and crime lab experts are optimistic state and local officials will support a new proposal that would allow for a faster, cheaper way to test suspected marijuana under the state’s new definition of the drug.

Angel Cano: Or Texas could take a page from the other states and completly legalize it as it has been proven a medical treatment. Not to mention the original standing that made marijuana illegal for the use of ingestion, isn't the real reason why it was made illegal correct. Wasn't it something about the timber industry trying to get a leg up even though hemp is more cost effective?? Texas law makers need to go back in on the laws and revise the ones that were made I the era of the boomers. That generation is the one controlling these things.

Anita Davis: to solve this problem it to go ahead and make marijuana legal and treated as you do for alcohol. it has already proven the benefits for medical. if you make it legal especially for medical it may helpful and get alot of people off of opioids/painkillers.

Ken Bone: It's the same old thing..... 💰 money. Who stands to loose it and who stands to profit.

Daniel Merrill: I don't thank pot is the problem.

Margie Whitley: I think it should be legal for it is good for medical reasons they can use it for pain cut some of the other pain medication down

just make it legal already.Treat it like alcohol. 21 or older can use it.This reffer madness has to stop. Save the money and go after bigger crimes that pose a bigger threat

If anyone's interested in making a lot of money in the marijuana industry, just put a business plan together and get an EB5 loan. For every 10 jobs you create, a foreign entity can invest $1M and the U.S will grant their kid citizenship so it's a pretty good deal.

I can probably come up with a faster plan for how to profit from marijuana than your "forensic" experts. It's Obvious law makers value dollars over people and I'm sorry to say but Power to the People my friends.

it's pretty funny...I love to indulge every now and then, but I don't let a substance define me. All you going on about how it's so medically necessary wouldn't be all up in arms if it didn't get you high. What if I told you that you could use it and reap all the medical benefits, but you wouldn't get high. Almost none of you addicts would even care about the issue anymore. Pot is just as addictive as anything else, and people abuse it to escape problems just like alcohol. Oh, it's not addictive? Then why are there 4000 smelly ass hippies crying in front of the capital to get it legalized?

it all depends on the person and how they handle the buzz. Some people don't have the power to control their buzz and panic. or some people will treat it as a gateway drug and think other potentially harmful substances are as safe as weed and end up overdosing or worse, dieing.

use it for most if not all medical problems
