Thousands of people were without power in Madison, Wis., Friday morning after a transmission explosion and fire at an energy provider's power center. According to the Wisconsin State Journal, 13,000 customers of Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) were without electricity.

I hope they provide transportation for those that have no way to get to those cooling center's. What about overnight accommodations if they don't get the power back on? It's not like it's been cooling off at night or not enough anyway
