CHAMBLEE, Ga. (CBS46) One metro Atlanta city has approved a smoking ban that's among the strictest in the state. Chamblee city officials call it the ‘Clean Air Ordinance.’ It bans smoking within 50 feet of any outside entrance, operable window or ventilation system of a common area.
Jennifer Burrell: Next, limit the amount of drinks allowed per person at a restaurant or bar to only 2 alcoholic drinks! People driving drunk is a hell of a lot more dangerous than, a little bit of second hand smoke. I never stand any where near an entrance door to any building but, 50 feet is a bit much! If you are going to be sooo hard on the sin of cigarettes then, same thing should be for alcoholic beverages because they kill many, many more people than a little bit of secondhand smoke. That is a bit strict on cigarette smoke!
