HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Gov. Greg Abbott and Texas' top leaders are calling out district and county attorneys who dismissed marijuana possession cases or said their offices would not prosecute those misdemeanor charges without a lab test.

Dustin Severson: Im still upset lt gov dan patrick wouldn't let the Senate vote on decriminalization after 3/4 of the house of representatives voted for it and passed it. he needs to go. vote people.

Ryan Robertson: It's now obvious to most people that marijuana should have never been prohibited in the first place. Opioids kill more and more people each year yet the money is too good....Marijuana can bring our state more money and more jobs...but it seems the law makers just don't care.

User from TX: Keep it that way. We Texans don’t want it legal

William Henderson: Dan Patrick, Governor Greg Abbott both of your days are numbered. We weed smokers will do our damndest to vote YOUR ASSES out of office. LEGALIZE marijuana. Itll be just like prohibition was, you two assholes are stopping progress. That's why we hope your asses die real soon Gtf out of office💩💩💩👎
