ATLANTA - Because of all the wet weather we've had this year, people are seeing the water insect known as the “toe biter" more than usual, according to experts. The “toe biter” -- whose real name is Belostomatidae -- is usually about 2 inches long and bites humans’ toes. The bite usually feels like a wasp sting.

Marcus Hunter: The only good bug is a dead bug! - would you like to know more?

Michelle Rosser: Toe Biter, giant ass Water Bugs, Brown Recluse, Lizards and Frogs.. so over SUMMER!!!🤬

Jeremy Lawrence: I'm calling this bug the "boot ssquasher"

User from GA: How do you treat a bite?

Yvonne Wilson: they look like a half bug and half spider to me!
