Hundreds of Flights Canceled at Chicago Airports Amid Storms

Hundreds of flights were canceled at Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports Thursday morning as much of the city and surrounding suburbs were hit with a downpour. At least 288 flights were canceled at O'Hare International Airport by about 8:30 a.m. CST. Delays at O'Hare were averaging around 61 minutes - 90 minutes for arrivals and 37 minutes for departures. About 28 flights were canceled at Midway, with delays there averaging roughly 28 minutes.
