LAKE JACKSON, Texas (AP) A man and woman died Tuesday in a shootout with a sheriff's deputy outside a home south of Houston. The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Kerry Adams: Glad the SO deputy wasn't injured and the bad guys died of lead poisoning

User from TX: Two more POS gone, making the world a better place.

Debbie Graber: Are we suppose to say shame on the police for protecting themselves. Well you want hear it from me, instead Thank Goodness The Police Officer wasn’t Hurt.

Mike Scarecrow Liles: Wow of all places I was born and raised in Angleton Texas as kods and teenagers everyone one went to Lake Jackson to cruise the Brazos Mall and go to the movies and Skate ring. That's crazy fi sometying like this to happen there. I havent live in that erea since 1997 well off and on but dang it has changed. Even the schools hell when I went to school there was no cops or metal detecors in the schools now the have both. Times have changed.

Billy Grady: so both opened fire on the officer or just one and the police shot both I need more details

I doubt the woman was shooting. Guy is drunk starts shooting at deputy woman is a victim and both get killed by deputy. so sad. been there but wasn't shot. Rip.

Houston is the most police corrupted area I have been in Texas. Second would be Kyle Texas where the biker gangs pay off the police.

Maybe if they weren’t modern day pirates that extort people. People wouldn’t hate them so much.
