Ohio dog shelter issues warning for owners after 2 dogs die of heat stroke

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — An Ohio animal shelter is issuing a warning for pet owners after two dogs died from heatstroke over the past three days in Ross County. Officials with the Ross County Animal Shelter said one of the dogs had an internal temperature of 109 degrees by the time they rushed it to the vet.
