ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 3-year-old boy has died after falling into an underground grease collection tank behind an upstate New York fast-food restaurant. Rochester Police Investigator Frank Camp says the boy fell through a plastic cover into the grease trap behind a Tim Hortons restaurant around 11 a.m. Monday. Witnesses pulled the unidentified child out and administered CPR.

Ann Sibley: Where were the parents at when this happened?? Totally not watching their child!! Poor baby 😢😞☹️😢

Tim Kreamer: this is a huge heartbreaker. i don't know what the child was doing there alone but the negligence is unforgivable.

John Brown: Amazing how everyone blames the parents immediately. How about finding all the facts before passing judgment.

Angie Schondra: I didn't see anything about the parents not being there..... anyone that has or has had a toddler knows it can take then 2.1 seconds to be on, in or climbing something they shouldn't be.... regardless any innocent lose of life is a tragedy....not an opportunity to point fingers....

Cherie Brigham: Good Lord, where were his parents? What a horrible thing to happen.
