West Virginia offensive lineman Colton McKivitz is the Mountaineers’ lone selection to the 2019 All-Big 12 preseason football team as voted on by the media. The Jacobsburg, Ohio native is a three-year starter at tackle for the Mountaineers, playing in 38 games and starting 35. His 35 starts run consecutively and lead all returning WVU players in 2019. He is a two-time All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection and a three-time Academic All-Big 12 Second-Team selection. He saw action on 950 plays in 2018, including 870 on offense and helped pave the way for the offense to average 512.3. yards of total offense per game, ranking No. 2 in the Big 12 and No. 10 nationally. In 2017, he lead the team with 986 plays.
