Jenni Benson of the Saratoga Stud horse farm in South Africa discovered an unusual surprise when one of her pregnant horses finally delivered. She told the story from the beginning to end in a Youtube video. She writes that her horse Treliver D'Aquitaine (aka Daisy) was seven days overdue when she and two helpers named Guy and William decided to check on her in the stable. Daisy shortly delivered a colt named Don Quixote, and Jenni and her helpers happily doted on him and waited for him to learn to stand.
Susan Hawk: AAAAWWW THAT'S SO PRECIOUS. One Time when Our Milk Cows was ready to Deliver. My Dad put her in the Stable, Cause with Cow's. They will go off far away and have their calf and it's usually on the worst weather of a day. Well She was having trouble with labor so My Dad had to See if the Calf was Breech or just a Big one. The First Calf did finally come out and was a good size. She got up and was Cleaning him up and My Dad said That Her Stomach was still Bulging So We waited for a while to see if she was going to deliver the After Birth. Which Sometimes they eat it. She started Bellowing and Carrying on. So My Dad Checked her and Found another Calf but it was Turned and He Tried to turn it around and then he hooked a Chain to the Calf and Each Time she Would push. My Dad would pull. The Little Calf Finally Came out and We had two Little Bulls.
