Q • I want to know why Steve Harvey’s talk show was canceled and if another network will pick it up. A • NBCUniversal, which distributed the show through syndication (selling it to individual stations instead of via a network), opted not to continue the show after seven years to concentrate on selling a new talk show hosted by Kelly Clarkson. Around the same time, Harvey also lost his gig on “Little Big Shots,” which is getting a revamp and new host, Melissa McCarthy. Harvey’s show has reportedly been shopped around, though I’ve not seen a new home yet, and he has been exploring digital network options. For now, you can keep seeing Harvey in special segments on steveharvey.com, as well as hosting “Family Feud” and “Celebrity Family Feud.”
