Lizzadro Museum leaves Elmhurst after 57 years - 06-12

ELMHURST – The Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art has left its home in Elmhurst and is settling in Oak Brook in an effort to expand its footprint. The museum closed May 31, with hopes of reopening in Oak Brook at 1220 Kensington Road sometime in October, museum director Dorothy Asher said. The move marks the closing of the museum’s original home. The museum was founded in 1962.
