PCM Has A Productive First Day At State Track and Field

PCM took to the Blue Oval with six events on Thursday of day one at the State Track and Field Meet. Reed Worth was 11th in the 200 with a time of 23.14. Peyton Strovers was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet 6 1/4 inches. The girls shuttle hurdle relay had the Mustangs best finish with a third in their preliminary race at a time of 1:07.86 and will race for a state championship on Saturday. The boys, not to be outdone also made the final in the shuttle hurdle event getting eighth in a time of 1:01.45. Also Sierra Foster was 14th in the 200 with a time of 26.83, and Lexi Kuecker was 20th in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet 11 inches. The Mustangs have several events today including the hurdle events as Margo Chipps and Morgan Uhlenhopp both run in the 400 hurdles.
