ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The Arlington Police Department is asking for information regarding a Sunday hit and run accident involving a bicycle officer. According to Arlington Police, Officers responded to a request for assistance from a uniformed bicycle officer who was working an approved, off-duty assignment for AT&T Stadium at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday. The officer, who was riding a marked and distinguishable bicycle with lights for night use, was responding to a dispatched call in the 800 block of N. Collins Street. The officer was riding alongside another bicycle officer as they were traveling across Collins Street westbound near Rogers Street to respond to a business on the other side of the street.
