Whenever you get into a slump, it can be hard to see a way out. It can feel like no matter how hard you try, the outcome never changes. But there is always a way out. This weekend marked the beginning of the championship season. Our team made the trip to Chambersburg for the most competitive meet of the season: Mid-Penn’s. Many of my teammates rose to the occasion and we saw some great performances. Olivia Taverna ran a personal best of 12.63 and placed third in the 100m final, while Nik Karoly and Rich Le earned a pair of sixth and seventh-place medals, respectively.
