Minors: Logan Allen puts a good foot forward with El Paso - 04-16

Logan Allen turned in his best start of the year Monday. It just won’t count for three months. The Padres’ 21-year-old pitching prospect struck out seven and limited the damage to two runs in five innings in a game suspended in the 11th inning due to the Pacific Coast League’s travel curfew. The game between Triple-A El Paso and Sacramento will resume July 15 during The Chihuahuas’ next visit to Reno.
