Roanoke Police shut down roads to investigate fatal crash

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR News) - According to the Roanoke Police Department, the intersection of Campbell Avenue and 5th Street SW will be closed at 1:30 today. Officials said this is a part of their investigation on the fatal hit and run from February 13th.

Thompson Memorial Drive in Salem remains closed Thursday morning

SALEM, Va. (WDBJ7) According to the Roanoke County Police Department, part of Thompson Memorial Drive in Salem is still closed Thursday morning. The road is closed at Dunford Drive. During the snow storm Wednesday, trees fell on power lines. There's no time frame for when the road will be reopened.

Police locate suspect after cameras found in Virginia Tech restrooms

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) — Police have arrested a person accused of installing secret cameras in public restrooms on the Virginia Tech campus. According to the Virginia Tech Police Department, two separate video recording devices were found in restrooms this week.
