Police: Man who tipped $22K at Nashville hotel bar accused of public intoxication

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville police arrested a 39-year-old man on public intoxication charges Monday after he tipped $22,000 at a downtown hotel bar, the Tennessean reported. Joel D. Boyers, of Bellevue, Tennessee, was charged with public intoxication and possession of a firearm while intoxicated, WZTV reported. He is free on pretrial release.
