Shawnee murder defendant pleads guilty to amended accessory charge

A Shawnee man charged two years ago with first-degree murder, deliberate intent, in connection with a January 2017 shooting death at Chapel Ridge Apartments pleaded guilty Friday to a lesser amended charge of accessory to first-degree murder and received a suspended sentence, court records show.
