Local students place at Holden Math Contest

WARRENSBURG - The Warrensburg Middle School Math Club competed Thursday, March 7, at the Holden Math Contest. The sixth grade team took first place overall. The following sixth-graders placed at the contest, Evelyn Gaela took first place in fractions, decimals and percents and eighth place in geometry; Anston Sorenson took first place in number sentences, second place in fractions, decimals and percents and seventh place in geometry; Quentin Fuelling took third place in fractions, decimals and percents and ninth place in number sentences; Trinity Duncan took fourth place in fractions, decimals and percents and seventh place in probability and statistics; Jackson Beymer took first place in probability and statistics and second place in geometry; Arianna Brown took first place in consumer math and fourth place in number sentences; Emma Likcani took fifth place in problem solving and ninth place in consumer math; and Maegan Roberson took fourth place in algebra, ninth place in problem solving and ninth place in consumer math.
