One person killed in afternoon crash on 23 Mile Road
According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, the crash took place about 3 p.m. and involved a Ford Expedition and a Ford Taurus. A man inside the Taurus, described only as an elderly man, was killed in the collision. The accident took place between Romeo Plank and Heydenreich roads.
Student brings bullet to Rochester school
Superintendent Robert Shaner said the student, who attends Hart Middle School, reportedly discovered a bullet left in a pocket and “inadvertently” brought it to school the morning of Oct. 19. He said the student self-reported the incident to school administrators.
