Two New Orleans men indicted in separate murders, one involving local rapper
Brad Smothers, 25, was indicted on a charge of second degree murder in the shooting death of Aaron Anderson, identified as a "budding" rapper under the name "Butta B" and "Butta Beezy," the DA's office said.

Louisiana state trooper arrested in New Orleans in alleged rape of 16-year-old girl
