Pedestrian hit, killed on Lusher in Elkhart

Police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday evening. They couldn’t confirm the age, but said the victim is young. This happened between the 1400 - 1500 block of Lusher.

Accident in Elkhart claims life of 8-year-old boy

ELKHART — An 8-year-old boy was killed in a vechicle-pedestrian accident about 6 p.m. Friday evening in Elkhart, police have reported. Elkhart Police said they were called to the scene of the accident at 1511 W. Lusher Ave. where it was reported that two juvenile males ran out into the roadway.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) South Bend police were called Friday afternoon to a reported shooting in the 1300 block of W. Fisher. Police say the victim is a male with injuries to the stomach and leg.
