A Cartersville man will spend about two decades in prison after a Cobb County jury convicted him of kidnapping a woman in Marietta. Antoine Latroy Williams, 40, was convicted Wednesday evening of kidnapping, sexual battery and three counts of simple battery. Cobb Superior Court Judge Stephen Schuster sentenced Williams to a total of 20 years, 18 of which he will have to serve in prison and the rest on probation. — According to the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office, Williams met the victim in February 2018 and offered her a job. The following day, he went to the woman’s place of employment on Roswell Road in Marietta five times and waited for her in the parking lot.
