Road closings were determined by the Kennesaw City Council on Feb. 18 for this year’s special events. They include: — Touch-A-Truck:8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9. Cherokee Street will be closed from Big Shanty Drive to Main Street.

Fire rips through 20 units at Roswell apartment complex

A Kennesaw convenience store sold a $10,000 Mega Millions ticket last week to one lucky winner. Neil Ketchledge and his 24-year-old son Korbyn share a lot more than a last name. “My son gave me one of his kidneys so I could keep on living,” said Neil, 51, recovering in the family’s Kennesaw home three days after the father-and-son transplant surgery at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
