Justin Ray Weldon, 19 of Calhoun, was arrested this week in Rome after reports said he used a 2×4 to break a window in order to steal car keys at University Jeep Chrysler Dodge in Rome.

Expect delays today on I-75 South in Gordon County

Travelers heading south on I-75 today through Gordon County should expect delays. Police make arrest in shooting, robbery of UGA student

ATHENS, Ga. - Athens-Clarke County police have arrested a man accused of shooting and robbing a UGA student in Athens Monday. Police arrested Zarren Garner, 20, in Gwinnett County Tuesday morning. Garner is charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault.
