Development taking shape at I-95 interchange - 03-21


The Edgewater Planning and Zoning Board unanimously recommended March 13 approval of the latest proposed development at the Interstate 95 and State Road 442 interchange. However, the developer of the Ocean Gate Commerce Center had not provided the square footage of buildings there, a requirement for approval, as of presstime. It would add to the more than 4 million square feet of non-residential development already approved on the west side of the highway at the Edgewater exit. The zoning and conceptual plan will now go to the City Council for public hearings and formal approval.
