Bridgeport man charged with attempted Stratford stickup

STRATFORD — Police have charged a 61-year-old Bridgeport man with trying to rob a gas station Feb. 16. In a prepared statement, Capt. Frank Eannotti said Zachary Hobbs was arrested by warrant Thursday and charged with attempted first-degree robbery and carrying a dangerous weapon.
