Reporting (and catching) fireworks starters just got easier in Ventura
To make it easier to catch fireworks starters, the City Council on Monday passed what’s often called a “social host” ordinance. So if the person who set off the fireworks isn’t around when police arrive, the property owners or tenants could be cited,according to the ordinance.

Suspect arrested in Ventura elder care burglary case
