Mayor: San Luis port of entry a top funding priority

SAN LUIS, Ariz. – The mayor says the San Luis port of entry into his city has risen to the top of the priority list among U.S. border crossings needing upgrades. Mayor Gerardo Sanchez said the General Services Administration is proposing an earmark of $248.3 million in the fiscal 2020 budget to add more lanes for cars arriving from Mexico, and for other modernization work at the downtown port of entry.
