Hundreds of mourners pay their respects to slain Birmingham police officer Sgt. Wytasha Carter - 01-19


A steady stream of mourners filed into a flower-filled chapel Friday to pay their respects to a Birmingham police officer shot and killed in the line of duty five days ago. Sgt. Wytasha “Wyt” Carter, a 44-year-old husband, father of two and youth pastor, was being remembered as an “amazing man of God,” and for his loyalty, devotion and impressive work ethic as a public servant.
