A Hueytown teen was arrested early Friday, charged in an overnight shooting in western Jefferson County. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 18-year-old Codi Dempsey. He is charged with attempted murder and was booked into the county jail about 4:30 a.m. Friday.
