Ray Allen: I didn't save LeBron James' career

The biggest shot of LeBron James' career was actually made by a teammate. After he missed a game-tying three-pointer in the closing seconds of Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals, Chris Bosh secured the rebound and passed the ball out to Ray Allen, who tied the game with a three-ball of his own. Had that shot not gone through, James would have won only one championship during his four-year tenure with the Miami Heat, at least if future results held, and would have only two titles in all. Many have therefore credited Allen with saving James' career, but Allen himself disputed that notion in a video for Sports Illustrated.
