Author and Podcaster, Deborah James to run Vitality 10K with stage 4 Bowel Cancer

“I run because it makes me feel alive, and I want to stay alive, so I run.”. Deborah James was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016 at the age of 35. Since then she has had several major operations, including bowel and lung resections, multiple rounds of chemo and is still undergoing treatment. Yet she’s also launched an award-winning BBC podcast, You, Me and the Big C with Lauren Mahon and the late BBC presenter Rachael Bland, published a book named F*** You Cancer: How to face the big C, live your life and still be yourself.
