Gigi Hadid Plays the Girl, the Lady, the Boy, and the Gentleman for Burberry’s Monogram Collection Debut

Vogue - 05-14

Late last year, Burberry’s Creative Director Riccardo Tisci unveiled a new identity for the 163-year-old British fashion house via Instagram. The designer shared an image of a new label conceptualized in collaboration with the art director icon Peter Saville, and along with it, a graphic orange, white, and tan monogram logo featuring the letters TB. The motif was inspired by a trip that Tisci took to the Burberry archives, one in which he discovered a similar design originally conceived by Thomas Burberry in 1908. Although Tisci has now shown five collections, we’ve only seen a few glimpses of the new logo on his ready-to-wear and shoes, until now that is.
