De Queen man to face felony paraphernalia charge after police find alleged meth pipe in coverall pocket - 01-31


A De Queen man, Jason Wells, 39, was jailed on felony charges after Sevier County Sheriff deputies found a glass pipe used to smoke meth and other paraphernalia. The incident began on Tuesday, Jan. 29, when Deputy Justin Gentry and Sgt. Greg Davignon were on patrol and observed a small white car that was stopped in the southbound lane of Hwy. 71 at the stop light at the intersection of Hwy. 71 and Collin Raye Drive. According to the sheriff's report, the vehicle was pulled up several feet past the painted stop line.
